Derek “Deek” Diedricksen, HGTV/DIY Network host/designer, and host of “Tiny Yellow House”, visits Massachusetts tiny house owner Chris Haynes. Chris has incorporated some cool features in his tiny home including a screened porch and a projection screen entertainment system. This 252 square feet tiny home is also equipped with solar panels and is built to code.
The perfect tiny home design is very subjective and reflective of the personality to the tiny home builder/dweller, taking into account their interests and needs. Some like to cook while others prefer to cozy up with a good book. This video illustrates just how each tiny home build reflects the needs and personality of the tiny home owner or dweller. Chris’s screened porch allows him some relief from the flies and bugs in his area and his well planned tiny entertainment system provides big screen viewing, up to 50″, without bulky flat screen tv mounts and equipment. This tiny house entertainment system is also able to receive “over the air TV” including Netflix. The bathroom is also very spacious by tiny home standards which for some tiny house enthusiasts, is a very important feature.
To me, this tiny home would make a great fishing cabin or off grid get away!
